Like a police sketch of a murder suspect, I present you, fellow Opponauts, with a shitty awesome sketch of a unique automobile I saw today during lunch. I'm fairly familiar with most exotics and low-production boutique exotics, but I couldn't identify this bad boy. Now I only saw it very briefly as it passed me in the opposite direction (otherwise I would have snapped a pic). So, here's a sketch from my shaky memory (as you can see, I don't draw cars for a living - sorry). The pertinent details:
-contemporary "exotic" coupe (so not an old "kit" car, ala the Coyote) Looked to have been made within the last 10 years.
-sports car styling (possibly rear-engined), somewhat wedge shape
-large, catfish mouth grill the most prominent feature of the front (can't remember headlights)
-gray color (may help if there's only one or two of these in the world)
So... can you help identify this UEA (Unidentified Exotic Auto)?

Lol I hope it was that easy. They also came with pop-up headlights if yours had them.

That's actually a pretty good sketch. I think it could be the Spyker 4muddyfeet suggested, but maybe you would have identified that one?

well, those are pretty common here in the L.A. area, so that would have been easy to spot.

I took a guess that you were US. I didn't know how ubiquitous Maseratis were over there though.

ooh, Spyker could be a very good guess, as I haven't yet seen one in the wild here in Los Angeles. though i want to say the car i saw had a stubbier/lower front - an almost "pouncing" stance. but, it could have been a gray Spyker.

heh, that would have been rad, though i would have recognized it (as my eyeballs have gazed upon an actual one in the not-too-distant past). i'd still love to see one out in the 'wild' one of these days.

that would have been bonkers to see in person. unfortunately, the car i saw didn't quite have the lines of the Ferrari P4-5 you showed above. and, my memory is shaky so i may not have gotten the proportions quite right in the sketch. but thanks for that pic anyway!

yeah, the Spyker (and the Callaway below it) are both good guesses. i've seen plenty of rare cars here in Los Angeles (Veyrons... Pagani Huayra...) but I can't say i've seen a Spyker in person so it could have been the car I saw earlier. damn me and my shaky memory!

True, LA is filled with crazy expensive cars. I don't live there but only on vacation I saw a matte purple Bentley and a Rolls-Royce. Probably some more but it was quite a while ago so I can't remember haha.
